Module E – Week 4 (DUTY week)

enter summary

This week, you will use what you have learned so far and apply it to duty XXX.   Remember that you are trying to show me what you do (and, by omission, don’t) understand.  Check the Teams Channel to see if there are any specific additional instructions and the submission deadline.  Activities are suggested at the bottom of the page that would support a duty 5 submission, or you can use anything you have generated so far.  You are submitting a reflective account (perhaps with an appendix or activities/tasks as evidence) as a Word document to the OneDrive link that has been shared.

Duty XXX

Remember duties are your classwork.  They show your progression in understanding across multiple KSBs.

Duty XXX covers multiple KSBs.  You should write it as a ‘reflective account’.  Remember you can use any tasks to support your writing.  You submit a summary reflection document (usually around 600-800 words) but you can have an appendix of evidence that supports what you are saying.   If you can not write about some of the KSBs it does not matter – but you do need to cover the ones you miss out at some point.

Suggestions

  • Example
  • Documented Observation: A record of observations of learners with specific needs, noting any specific strategies used to support these learners. This could be tied to the learning from weeks 1-3 and demonstrate an understanding of the impact of these strategies on learner well-being and engagement.
